Jayne Geaney Grad Dip Phys MCSP

Jayne qualified from Withington School of Physiotherapy in 1992 with a Graduate Diploma in Physiotherapy.

She has attended a variety of courses including Maitland, The McKenzie Institute, Muscle imbalance and Acupuncture.

Jayne has a special interest in Occupational Health and has attended a Basic Occupational Health course, Manual Handling and a DSE Risk Assessors Course. She is a member of ACPOHE (Association of Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics).

Jayne is our newest member of the physiotherapy team. She previously worked, for five years, as a Senior Physiotherapist in the Occupational Health Team for a number of large companies; here she treated all aspects of muscle, joint and soft tissue injuries, together with performing Workstation Assessments and giving Ergonomic advice to the company employees. Jayne is heading our Workstation Assessment service.

At present Jayne is working at Canterbury Road GP Surgery, but comes to the Clinic to give Ergonomic advice. She is available to perform individual and whole company DSE Risk Assessments.
